Love this . . . As last newsletter reported "It Takes A Village Scholarship" is completed. If you would like to see the Certificate of Completion contact us and we will forward via email or private message to you on FACEBOOK. The "Fillin In The Gap" $500 Scholarship in recognition of a local Real Estate Agent Robin Raiff and family who has been there done that and over came and continues to give us and many others input and helps when she can. This Scholarship is available for a senior at Sebastian River High School not living at home during their school year and helps with Senior expenses. Last school year, 2022-2023, you all paid for a yearbook for a senior $85. This scholarship will start again 2023-2024 school year. We received a Thank You note via email from Pelican Island Garden teacher recipient-Diane Lott-for the Wilborn Family $75 Scholarship she received. If you would like to read the email and see the pictures she included please contact us. his program is made available, at this time, from $ generated with the FETCH IT app and IBOTTA apps. If you don't work these rewards programs we would LOVE your shopping receipts from CVS, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Family $, Publix, Sams, Walgreens, Walmart, Winn Dixie, Etc. It is possible $ generated from theses receipts through these two apps will provide $ for more than one "Wilborn Family $75 Garden Scholarship" . Send your receipts via text to 772-778-5277 or private message through FACEBOOK to us. A readable 100% of the receipt is needed from top to bottom. The receipt can be divided into different pictures to capture all the receipt. Call to discuss more . .. During the month of July we are hosting and collecting School Supplies for the School Supply drive we do each year. The most needed ITEMS are - Pencils, Scissors, Rulers, 3 prong Folders, Glue, Pencil Erasers, Pencil Sharpeners and the other basic ITEMS needed daily in classrooms. It appears AMAZON Smiles philanthropy shopping webpage of AMAZON is no longer donating to requested NONPROFITS by the shopper. If we read right AMAZON is donating in the areas where their employees live. For more up to date information please contact AMAZON directly. Thank you WONDERFUL COMMUNITY who participated during this program. Scholarships available A.V.E.R.Y. This scholarship provides $ for local fun things for students of North Indian River County Schools who have a current/active IEP or 504 with Indian River County School District. Send student name, parent/guardian name, contact info for parent/guardian and which camp or activity for the student they are interested in to TheRecyclingClub@aol.com. The Scholarship is a $500 Scholarship named after a very special young lady who keeps us on our toes and continually reminds us what LOVE is about. Cynthia Bohannon $1,000 Scholarship is available to a student who graduated from Sebastian River High School May 2023 and is going to Florida College Full time August 2023. Smith Construction $500(x2) Scholarship is available to a students who have completed one year of full time college and no more than three years of full time college that have graduated from Sebastian River High School 2018 and later. Although we are not CLOSED during the summer our Paper Trading Program is.

During School year 2023-2024, the first day students return to school, we will resume and trade up to four REAMS of paper per month for North Indian River County School paid staff, extra Ink Cartridges are accepted as BONUS to The Recycling Club with no extra paper or future credit given. Starting first day students return to school 2023-2024 the form for trading will be available on our webpage to print and on FACEBOOK to print to be completely filled out and emailed from their paid staff member of North Indian River County Schools email account and attach the completely filled out form to the outside of their plastic bag with their Ink Cartridges at the front desk of their school. We are unavailable for paper trading of Ink Cartridges during the summer, School Days students are not in school or Holidays etc. Volunteering . . are you looking for something easy to do? Do you know someone who needs volunteering hours? Contact us lets talk. . *To Go Utencils and To Go Condiments sorted into Zip Lock Bags *Individual Hygiene products sorted into Zip Lock Bags Here is a couple of ways we generate $ to continue the mission of Smaller School Supply List and Scholarships of Kids, Family,Community and Staff of North Indian River County Schools *Ink Cartridges-What do you do with your Ink Cartridges when you are done with them? Large or Small we take them all. *IBOTTA-What do you do with your Grocery Receipts when you are done with them? *Fetchit-What do you do with your Grocery Receipts when you are done with them? *Scrap-Do you have broken appliances or other metals you need to have hauled away? *CDs, DVDs, Records(Vinyl)-What do you do with these when you are done with them?
